Walter Culbreth is a self-trained printmaker known mainly for his woodcuts. One of the original members of TAWA, he has mounted solo exhibitions at the Studio-on-the-Canal in Princeton and Reed House in Hightstown and has participated in numerous group shows in the Trenton and Princeton region. He was raised in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, attended Knoxville College in Tennessee, and is a retired American Cyanamid biochemist with an expertise in nutrition and physiology. Now in his ‘90s, he is still active in biochemical research.
