“I grew up in a small town in South New Jersey. I loved the houses and neighborhoods. None more than the old towns on the way to the Jersey shore. It was later in life that I discovered Wildwood. I loved it; motels, ramshackle Victorian houses on their last legs now replaced by developed apartments, and town houses. Now I live in Pennington and enjoy the towns and surrounding towns. I’ve painted my entire life. I generally use oil paints because they are so versatile, and the colors are beautiful but watercolor paints are nice for sketching. I’ve taken part in juried and invitational shows in the region: a selection includes at Ellarslie (the Trenton City Museum), Mercer County College, Hunterdon Museum, and in NYC. I have also had a few one-person exhibits: Trenton City Museum, Mercer County College, Veridian Gallery in Pennington (now gone), and ETS.”

“Mel Leipzig always says painters live longer so I will be painting more in the future.”
