Earth in a Box

Latta N. Patterson (1914-2015) studied art at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. The MCCC alum studied under the tutelage of the renowned artist, Mel Lepzig. Along with fellow aesthete Dr. Mary Howard, Patterson founded the Trenton Artist Workshop Association (TAWA). The TAWA founder’s work has been displayed at several venues, including but not limited to: MCCC, New Jersey State Museum, and Ellarslie (Trenton City Museum). She spent countless hours perfecting her craft and generously gifted her creations to many.
