Back in 2012, Mark Schreiber (www.markschreiberartist.com) was at a plein air event being held at Old York Vineyards in Flemington, New Jersey when he decided to use the vineyards wine as a medium. From that moment on he has been creating a body of fine art depicting all aspects of life in fine wine. He has been invited to paint at corporate galas, museums, fundraisers, vineyards, and all types of events involving the love of wine. Schreiber has been invited to paint in wine at a dinner event at Kelham Vineyards in Napa, California for the cast and producers of the sitcom “Cougar Town”; painted the portrait of Kathie & Hoda for a segment during Wine Wednesday on The Today Show; done multiple dinner gala/fundraisers for the Trenton City Museum in Trenton, New Jersey; painted at Raymond Vineyard in Napa California for a dinner event being hosted by Turner Broadcasting; done multiple weekend events at Historic Luxury Skytop Lodge in the Poconos, in which six large paintings, depicting scenes of the grounds, hang permanently throughout the lodge.

Schreiber is a self-taught artist who has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a licensed architect & illustrator. In the mid 1980s Schreiber picked up a paint brush for the first time. By his sixth painting, he started to win national competitions and receive private and corporate commissions for his creative paintings. His paintings hang in corporations, museums, government offices, and the homes of many private collectors.

Currently Schreiber is painting commissioned large pieces for private golf country clubs in the Philadelphia area, along with scenic aerials of the Philadelphia skyline.
